At Foodies in Heels we love tablecloths, placemats and runners all year round, so bring it on for summer too! Feel free to combine your tablecloth with placemats, perfect for an extra dressed-up table. Of course, linen tablecloths are perfect for the hottest season of the year. Tip of the day: hang out your linen cloth wet after washing and you won't have to iron it. Because quite honestly; a little wrinkle adds to the atmosphere!

Of course, the loyal Foodies in Heels follower already knows this, but for those who are just getting started, we lovingly explain our Foodies in Heels method. Step 1: choose one or two colors based on an item on your table. Usually this is a tablecloth or runner, but of course it can also be a colorful plate. Step 2: then pick out "ton-sur-ton" the rest of the decor and stay true to your chosen color palette. In this setting, I used the terracotta-colored tablecloth as the base, with the rest of the items being the same color,
styled with white, black and gold.

The table linen from Jamini is the eye-catcher in this setting. I combined the tablecloth with placemats from the same line, revealing the same colors and patterns. Chic white is always a good idea for a great dinner party, especially when paired with these beauties. This series consists of four plates with different colorful little trees. It is a decorative piece in itself and it immediately gives a playful and natural atmosphere to the table. Even with a delicious snack served on it, these plates are still insane.

When we talk about color, this table absolutely cannot be missed. Everything on this summer set table contains color, except for the sand-colored bottom plates. Prefer not to combine a colorful ensemble with pure white, as it is too harsh. The natural complexion of these underplates breaks up the color canon without drawing too much attention to itself. It doesn't get more summery than this!
