At Foodies in Heels we love tablecloths, placemats and runners all year round, so bring it on for summer too! Feel free to combine your tablecloth with placemats, perfect for an extra dressed-up table. Of course, linen tablecloths are perfect for the hottest season of the year. Tip of the day: hang your linen cloth out wet after washing and you won't have to iron it. Because quite honestly; a little wrinkle adds to the atmosphere! For a completely wrinkle-free rug: spray it on the table with warm water and gently pull it straight, no more wrinkle to be seen!

Of course, the loyal Foodies in Heels follower already knows this, but for those who are just getting started, we lovingly explain our Foodies in Heels method. Step 1: choose one or two colors based on an item on your table. Usually this is a tablecloth or runner, but of course it can also be a colorful plate. Step 2: then pick out "ton-sur-ton" the rest of the decor and stay true to your chosen color palette. In this setting, I used the terracotta-colored tablecloth as the base, with the rest of the items being the same color,
styled with white, black and gold.

A green tablecloth is
really a must have for every linen closet. It covers beautiful warm tables and literally brings nature into your home when you extend the color and add a sprig of green. A wonderful combo with earthy tones like terracotta and salmon pink, as you can see here in this inspiration photo.

That rattan is really not only fun in summer proves this table! It is totally ok to use somewhat sober colors for your autumn table. This gives a very nice and intimate atmosphere when it is bleak and dark outside. The use of branches again creates a real autumn look. And the glasses ... these are the stars of the table.

Chic white can always be done! The
autumn eyecatcher in this inspiration photo is the checkered napkin from Maison de Vacances. But never underestimate the power of beautiful candles: combine different shades with each other and you give the whole thing just that little bit more spice!
