Are you "team fondue? Then a checkered tablecloth is mega appropriate and brings exactly the gemütliche feeling to the table. Combine it with wood and holly branches to create just that rustic Christmas atmosphere. Feel free to match your tablecloth with placemats, perfect for an extra dressed up table. Of course, linen tablecloths are perfect for the warmest season of the year. Tip of the day: hang your linen cloth out wet after washing and you won't have to iron it. Because quite honestly; a little wrinkle adds to the atmosphere! For a completely wrinkle-free rug: spray it on the table with warm water and gently pull it straight, no more wrinkle to be seen!

Sometimes it is simply a waste to hide a dining table. Now if you have a very nice wooden table, then a tablecloth is absolutely not a must. Let your tableware pop, like with these amazing plates. Of course, the colors red and green remain a winner during Christmas. Finish this Christmas look by using natural elements on the table, as I did here with pine branches, branches with red berries and dried fruit.

I just keep finding a white tablecloth just álways beautiful. It is classic, timeless and chic, especially when combined with gold tones. For a good dose of Christmas atmosphere, style it all with gold Christmas tree garlands and baubles. No napkin rings? Use a gold ribbon to tie your napkins, how fun!

Christmas breakfast in neutral pastels? Yeah right! Of course, you don't have to buy a completely new Christmas set. As long as you add a good dose of Christmas spirit to your own tableware, you'll be fine. Use the greenery you find in nature or in your garden, have lots of lights in the background and of course there should be lots of candles on the table. Notice how I used the 'ton-sur-ton' method here in the colors green and pink?

This tablecloth screams CHRISTMAS. Basically, you don't have to add crazy much more to create a Christmas atmosphere, but hey ... sometimes less is nót more. Sometimes I love to put - very cliché - a Christmas wreath with candle on the table. Because honestly, it reminds you of the old days. That's what I love about Christmas!
